Product Description

The IPX7/IPX8 continuous immersion test device is designed for testing protection against the effects of temporary or continuous immersion in water. This equipment meets the requirements of IEC 60529 standard for IPX7 and IPX8 testing, providing reliable and accurate test results for product certification.

For IPX7 testing, the equipment allows immersion in water under standardized conditions of pressure and time (1m depth for 30 minutes). For IPX8 testing, it enables continuous immersion in water under conditions which shall be specified by the manufacturer but which are more severe than those specified for IPX7.

IPX8 IMMERSION PRESSURE TEST DEVICE is intended for testing protection against ingress of water, IPX8 Immersion beyond 1 m, and the equipment is suitable for continuous immersion in water under conditions which shall be specified by the manufacturer.

Normally, this will mean that the equipment is hermetically sealed. However, with certain types of equipment, it can mean that water can enter but only in such a manner that it produces no harmful effects.

Continuous Immersion Test device Features :

This test equipment is designed and manufactured as per Iec 60529  2013 clause 14.2.8.

Test for second characteristic numeral 8: continuous immersion subject to agreement.

Unless there is a relevant product standard, the test conditions are subject to agreement between manufacturer and user, but they shall be more severe than those prescribed in 14.2.7 and they shall take account of the condition that the enclosure will be continuously immersed in actual use.

The test equipment is suitable for IP code degree testing of electrical & electronic products, auto parts, Luminaires and etc.
